I received a promotion to Director of Concurrent Enrollment & New Sooner Orientation, as I have worked with both programs for years. I serve as the Recruiter, Admissions Counselor and Academic Advisor for Concurrent Enrollment students at OU. I promote and market Concurrent Enrollment and manage the website and brand across OU's campus and across the state. I also coordinate the incoming student's orientation experience at OU, New Sooner Orientation. All incoming students and their families come to Orientation. We have New Sooner Orientation in the summer for fall admits and in the fall for spring admits. We have over 10,000 people visit OU's campus to attend New Sooner Orientation. I coordinate registration, schedule, and experience for all students and families. I work with various departments across campus to create meaningful programming for students & families to learn about resources and information they'll need to be successful at OU. I oversee a Graduate Assistant and forty to fifty students who serve as New Sooner Guides. I manage the New Sooner Orientation brand, website, and communication timeline, as well as the budget and sponsorship.
