I am currently pursuing my Associates Degree in Registered Nursing, while working towards my degree I am currently employed as a Patient Care Technician. Working in this position has provided me an abundance of experience working hands on with patients and other members of the interdisciplinary team. I quickly found that I loved getting the chance to meet new people each day and take part in their care. Whether that be sharing a laugh while taking their vitals or providing emotional support after they received a new diagnosis. It has been incredibly rewarding to get to take part in the care of so many different people. I have adjusted to the fast pace that is involved in health care and learned early on that situations can change in a matter of seconds. I look forward to completing my education at Edison State Community College and then furthering my education with a Bachelors Degree in Nursing. I have aspirations to eventually obtain my Masters and work as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. My work ethic can be explained as up beat. I enjoy helping others in any situation and find it to be very rewarding. I would define myself as a dependable employee as I ensure I complete each task given to me.
