I had worked at Dairy Queen for five years. During that time I was promoted into a Shift Lead position. In addition to my Shift Lead duties, I was responsible for the onboarding and training of new employees. I lead with enthusiasm and positivity, I have a strong ability to motivate others, and I am able to manage many priorities at one time in a fast-paced environment.

As an officer and instructor for one of the largest Recognized Student Organizations on campus, I have instructed students at many different levels of skill, each who require individualized and unique attention. We strive to create a positive and safe environment in which people enjoy participating in week after week. This position has taught me critical leadership skills including motivating and influencing others. I am proud of the fact that I was on the marketing team who coordinated the breaking of the Guinness World Record for the Largest Swing Dance in 2015 with 1,184 participants.

Through this opportunity I was able to assist the photography professor with grading student photos and provide constructive feedback on student work. Working along side other teaching assistant students through teamwork and collaboration to provide justified feedback. While watching the lab I was able to discuss thoughts on ways to improve work with the students directly and lead them toward greater success. Maintaining of lab equipment was also essential with this position.

Fort Collins, Colorado Area

Through this position I was able to achieve hands on experience regarding event coordination. This position was an as needed position, however, I was able to work along side a professional and successful coordinator. Working this position gave me skills to work with enthusiasm in many fast-paced environments. Most weddings I assisted with were based in Wyoming with limited cell service and manual labor required. This position allowed me to pay attention to every detail and be able to help satisfy guests every needs.
