Responsible for the user experience and visual design of the digital products under CEB's best practices and decision support line of business, including 60+ websites, several mobile apps, and other web-based applications. Directed and managed a UX and design team that worked alongside product and dev teams in an agile environment to ensure products support business and user needs. Team activities include conducting monthly user research, creating user flows, prototypes, visual designs, creating and managing pattern library, and advising on information architecture, content strategy, and overall UX and design best practices.Lead effort to standardize digital content types across organization from a user-centered and goal-driven perspective. Conducted Jobs To Be Done (JTBD) research to help align site information architecture with overall organizational go-to-market positioning.Managed "Sprint 0" and "Sprint -1" work to ensure that UX research and design work could feed into development sprints.CEB was acquired by Gartner in April 2017.

Led discovery, definition, and strategy efforts on projects for clients including Harvard Business School, the Advisory Board Company, US Department of State, International Monetary Fund, and National Park Service. Activities included conducting user and stakeholder research, leading client workshops, and wireframing/prototyping solutions.

From 2010-2011, led a user experience team working on a large system integration and re-engineering project for the Food and Drug Administration. Our team was responsible for overall system usability, conducting user research, creating user experience requirements, translating functional requirements into screen designs (wireframes and prototypes), and creating and maintaining design pattern and component library.From 2006-2010, worked with numerous clients including Environmental Protection Agency, National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, United States Agency for International Development, Bureau of Land Management, Federal Aviation Administration, Federal Acquisition Institute on externally-facing sites, intranets and KM solutions, and large-scale web applications. Created wireframes, site hierarchies (information architectures), and content inventories. Conducted focus groups, contextual inquiries, one-on-one interviews, usability testing, and card sorting exercises. Advised and reported on web analytics.

Oversaw the management and design/redesign of the IOM public web site and intranet site. Directed content strategy and production, user research, information architecture, and usability testing of sites. Advised on web communication strategies and trained web site content owners, creating training materials as needed.
