In my position, I collaborate with deans, directors, and administrators to develop competitive proposals for select foundations and corporations and facilitate grants amounting to over $1M to university researchers to sustain the university's research projects. I demonstrate exceptional leadership to build consensus on solicitation strategies, influence fundraising decisions, navigate complex organizational systems to produce positive outcomes, and seek foundation and corporate prospects. I spearhead multiple fundraising activities by coordinating campus visits, identifying new prospective donors, and facilitating relationships between donors and the university. I serve as the senior foundation relations contact for development colleagues and faculty in implementing departmental fundraising efforts, including cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of foundations with major gift potential. I prepared revised budgets and budget justifications, cost transfer requests, no-cost extensions, and prior approval requests while tracking committed efforts and streamlining proposals through necessary approvals.
