I am the Chairman, CEO and the majority share owner of EEC Entegre Bina Kontrol Sistemleri, a leading Building Automation and Low Voltage Systems Integrator in Turkey and surrounding countries. After receiving my BS degree in Electronics Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, I started my career as a design engineer. I was one of the founders of EEC in 1982 and I have been involved in product design, manufacturing, system design and field applications of fire alarm, security and building automation systems for more than 40 years. I’m accepted as an expert in fire detection and control systems and high level integration of building control systems.Apart from my leadership role at EEC Entegre Bina Kontrol Sistemleri, I’m also the Chairman of EEC Electronics, a manufacturer and exporter of emergency lighting systems; AVEKA, a distributor of fire and security products and EECSystems AG, the overseas projects development and management company of the group.I have served in the boards of industry associations such as GESIDER (the Turkish Security Industry Association) and ETMD (The Turkish Electrical Installation Engineers’ Association). I chaired TUYAK, the Turkish Fire Protection Association and Foundation, from 2001 to 2006 and I continue contributing to its technical and educational activities.
