As a part of this job role, I contribute to product quality and process improvement in production areas by conducting product inspections and communicating results to the team. Also, I ensure process quality by utilising process capability indices. In addition to the above responsibilities, I conduct investigations regarding troubleshooting, fault-finding, and solving product/production issues by employing the 8D approach. One of my key tasks is to lead and support teams involved in process improvement projects. Moreover, I keep accurate records of product defects and manufacturing issues, and generate status reports on current projects regarding troubleshooting activities. Lastly, I maintain a strict commitment to safe work practices and eliminate unsafe conditions.My accomplishments within this role are following: Received a certificate of appreciation in February 2022 for increasing production efficiency from 35% to 40% in six months by keeping track of product defects and using the Kaizen methodology. Promoted within a year to trainee Quality Engineer in December 2021 for exceeding goals by leading process improvement initiatives. Identified key issues and optimised production process using various root cause analysis methods, such as Pareto chart, IFD, and FMEA. FMEA Project: Envolved as a project manager in an effort to improve defect management in the company.

As Intern, I observed the company's design and manufacturing processes, working principles, maintenance, and repair procedures. It's worth mentioning that I collaborated closely with lead engineers, with aim of learning the profession by working on-site and maintaining floating pumps and the accompanying equipment. Lastly, I ensured the efficient repair of faulty production equipment by fixing minor problems.My notable outcomes for this role include: Provided support to design and manufacturing teams in simple production equipment repairs. Recommended easy-to-implement process to optimise inventory purchase, storage, and control.

During my time with Seral Textile, I liaised with experienced Textile Specialists and acquired hands-on experience conducting fabric, garment, and home textiles testing and product evaluation to evaluate whether a sample meets predetermined standards.
