44 years old – 22 years automotive experience – studied Project Technologist and Specialization in Automotive Engineering I started to work at Neumayer Tekfor in 1993. Initially, I worked as toolmaker of cold forging tools. In 1995, I started working as a designer of cold and hot forming processes, and since that time, I have developed processes and products to our customers. This work gave me the opportunity to get a great knowledge and experience in the metal forming area.In my academic career, I graduated as Mechanical Technologist in 2004. I finished my specialization in Automotive Engineering in 2012. In 2007, I was started to work at the FEM simulation of cold and hot process. Since this time, I improved my knowledge on FEM software. My area of expertise is the development of new products in the cold and hot forming process and to give support through FEM simulation to the NT Team from Brazil.In 2008, I participated of CAE software training, after that, I was able to analyze the behavior of metal flow, loading, die stress, wear and fatigue of metal forming tooling.In 2012, I participated in the Six Sigma training. Project:- Stability of Concentricity and Height in Hatebur Process.My supporting task of the NT Team through FEM simulation this year has been very profitable to me, because I am learning about different automotive components and I am having the opportunity to contribute to the understanding of the behavior of components as Ball Housing, Spring Plate, Wheel Hub, Stub Shaft, Enko Nut and special parts.As Process Technologist, my main tasks are: Development of forming processes, Cold and Hot forming simulation using Deform® software, tooling projects, drawings, monitoring developments in machinery, process improvements, technical support production, RFQ analyses, engineering KPI’s and participation in the APQP process, business cases, TVM projects and workshop lean.
