Formed in 1972, Hamilton House was developed into a non-profit Adult education and learning center for active persons 55 and older.Hamilton House is located on Providence’s East Side in a French Chateau style home listed on the National Register. It is a generous and elegant setting where new friendships are formed and old friendships flourish. Hamilton House is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization, offering many educational and cultural advantages. Members have opportunities for self-enrichment in a creative, convivial environment. Hamilton House’s mission is to enhance members' lives through stimulating interaction with ideas and friends in an adult learning center and to connect them with opportunities to serve the community.
