Hamilton House Adult Learning Exchange

Founded in 1972, Hamilton House Adult Learning Exchange is a 501(c)(3) non-profit located on the East Side of Providence, Rhode Island. Hamilton House is a unique, life-preserving, organization for adults 55+ serving residents of RI and neighboring MA for over 50 years. Since its founding, the mission of Hamilton House has been to provide continuing education for older adults; to be a vibrant, lifelong learning community that energizes mind, body and spirit. Studies have shown that learning, exercise and socialization helps to combat depression, loneliness and promote body and brain health and independent living. Hamilton House offers a wide range of diverse and stimulating classes; speakers on various topics; social activities and events; trips focused on art, culture and local history; intergenerational engagement; and service opportunities.
