The primary focus is providing direct onsite support for Nursing Faculty and staff onthe implementation and execution of the nursing program's clinical simulation. This includes the preparation, maintenance, testing and setup of simulation lab scenarios and the required simulated clinical and lab supplies as determined by the lead nursing faculty and the nursing curriculum committee.Setup and provide orientation to students and faculty on SimMan3G, SimBaby, SimJr, SimMom Noelle, Resusci Anne, and other high, medium, and low fidelity manikins used in the dedicated simulation lab. Troubleshoot and test all audio/video equipment associated with simulation to ensure proper debriefing for faculty and reflection for students in accordance with SSH accreditation standards. Repair simulation equipment per manufacturer’s specifications and determine need for outside versus internal repair. Work with manufacturers, vendors, administrators, information technology personal to correct equipment deficiencies in order to minimize downtime.Provide technical support to faculty and students on various computer systems such as audio/visual equipment, patient monitors, manikins, IV pump computers, medication dispensing systems, smart boards, and other equipment associated with simulation technology.

Setup and provide orientation to students and faculty of SimMan3G, SimBaby, SimJr, BirthingNoelle and other high, medium and low fidelity manikins used in the simulation and skills labs.Setup Simulation Learning System Electronic Health Record application, (EHR)and student/faculty enrollment and orientation of the Simulation Learning System in a simulated nurse’s station environment.Administration of all nursing labs as well as maintaining a running inventory of supplies to ensure a smooth and meaningful educational experience for students and faculty in the laboratory settingIntroduce an evaluation survey to determine successes and failures of the course and anonymously brought students’ concerns using Qualtrics survey software. Maintain laboratory safety manuals including Materials Safety Data Sheets, (MSDS) in compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration, (OSHA) requirements.Administrate and maintain Scantron supplies and technology to ensure faculty time management and grading accuracy.Ensure confidentiality regarding issues related to the nursing program and assist with coordinating and proctoring the computerized admission and HESI testing of potential and current students.Coordinate and maintain spread sheet analysis for clinical sites and clinical consortium assignments. Maintain current clinical agreements. Assist with clinical site placements via the traditional approach and with simulated and/or alternative clinical experiences.
