I am an experienced policy director and advisor with in depth knowledge of infrastructure, local government and the resource management system. I have just left Infrastructure New Zealand, New Zealand's peak infrastructure industry body after a decade and before that I advised on infrastructure at the Auckland Regional Council. I have authored a number of influential reports on international infrastructure planing, governance and funding, including across the United States, Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom. I have been a frequent contributor to media on infrastructure issues and have presented at numerous conferences and to visiting delegations. I am passionate about fixing New Zealand's serious challenges in housing, infrastructure and decision making and am currently considering future roles and positions as I decide my next career step.
