CurrentI have overall responsibility for delivering the Forestry Commission's policies on recreation, tourism and community engagement across a wide and diverse range of forests and communities in Perthshire, Angus and north Fife.I have extensive experience in working with a diverse range of partners, from small community groups to large NGO's and local authorities to deliver projects on the ground. One of the most notable and successful of these was the Enchanted Forest, which i chaired for 3 years.In my previous role i gained a wealth of experience in managing woodlands for recreation, conservation, timber production and lead on forest design plans for our forests around Lochs Rannoch and Tummel.I am a real team player who is not afraid to make difficult decisions and am someone who likes to lead from the front.
