Provided first aid and life guard services to various beaches in the Outer Banks including those run by the National Parks Service, and the towns of Duck and Southern Shores.

Worked as part of a team to provide efficient and high quality service to customers. Learned critical time management, interpersonal communication, and organizational skills in a fast paced and rapid feedback environment.

Taught children between the ages of four and fifteen how to swim. Received the “Ichiban” award for recognition of my contribution to the camp over the course of the summer.

Worked with three person staff to constantly improve quality of program throughout summer. Taught and supervised groups of between twenty and sixty - nine to fourteen-year-old scouts at a time.

Aided in the instruction of swimming to children between the ages of three and fifteen. Learned to work as part of a team to best create a functional and safe pool side environment. Developed public relations skills through interaction with parents of the students.
