Materials Operations Manager
CurrentManage two teams: (1) equipment material team, consisting of 12 individuals and (2) food material team, consisting of 8 individuals. Regulate team schedules, labor costs, and productivity. • Management and control of warehouse inventory in value of about 1 million dollars in stock.• Prepare inventory reports electronically using SACS.• Provides leadership and active communication to employees to cultivate an environment of trust, teamwork, and accountability.• Coordinate with twelve major international airlines out of Miami International Airport, i.e., British Airways, Latam Airlines, Iberia Airlines, to supply routable and food materials.• Routable material: such blankets, headphones, and cautery, and disposable materials such plastic utensils, plates, napkins to all outgoing flights.• Food material: dry and cool food, and special plating request for business and first-class passengers• Direct and manage daily scheduling of warehouse products to international airlines a 24/7, 365 day a week operation. Manage on average 200 flights a week.• Work closely with US Border Control daily to guarantee all documentation is accurately completed promptly, necessary for the success of international flights. • Responsible for ensuring and improving performance in quality, productivity, efficiency, and profitability of warehouse operations.
