A proactive Part II Architectural Assistant working currently at Foster+Partners in London ; with a Masters degree from the University of Sheffield on the pioneering MArch Collaborative practice course with a final Graduate project from Cairo. Contributer to the Drawing Attention book by the RIBA with a segment on Observational Sketching. Awarded and featured in the Next Generation '100 Inspiring Muslims' list . Winner of RIBA's 2023 Photography Contest. Previous experience consists of 18 months as a Part 1 Architectural Assistant at HLM Architects, Hammad's experience consists of projects of varying scales namely within the healthcare and Education Sector with a further desire to continue gaining experience in many other sectors and particularly interested in broadening horizons internationally.Previous BA Architecture first class degree obtained from the University of Huddersfield (2020). My BA final project was awarded the External Examiners Prize along with my BA dissertation being published in the Annual Fields Journal of Huddersfield Graduate Research.An avid Urban Sketcher and Arabic Calligrapher, linking culture and faith with my passion of Art and Architecture. My online platform Ink.sketcher showcases my design portfolio within the islamic art realm and has a great following whilst completing commissions for customers globally.An ambitious and creative individual always seeking opportunities to progress in the field of Art and Architecture. My artistic flair combined with the desire to constantly learn and develop has allowed me to progress successfully in academia hopefully giving similar results in professional practice. So far its been a journey of refinement, learning new design processes through various media forms and meeting inspiring individuals who have enabled me to carry on with this quest.
