Founder and CEO – Ronin Associates International - Government Servirces Planned, executed, Self-Funded, the start-up of RAI-GS and grew the company from 1 employee to 65 in 3 years; with revenue of $10 million. Since inception, RAI-GS had seven figure revenue with profit. Sold majority interest of RAI-GS in June 2013 to Aston Capital (the founder of which is Bob LaPenta co-founder of L3 Communications and founder of L1 Identity Solutions). This sale was rolled into a holding company called The Radiant Group, where I remained as a Member of the Board and Executive Vice President for Strategy. Was also a lead consultant to USG clients.

As EVP, expanded SpecTal’s portfolio from personnel support to technology research and development.As a member of the Senior Management team, planned and executed business development strategy, lead/oversaw all activities related to technology issues and IC mission support, and served as part of the L-1 Mergers and Acquisitions team assessing new technological developments and potential technology and service-based companies for potential acquisition by L-1. Provided critical IC mission understanding to help L-I construct its technological roadmap to develop products and services that would best support the emerging needs of the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense. Work closely with L-1 attorneys and business unit managers to understand the value and potential applications of L-1 owned and developed Intellectual Property (IP) and Patents. Acted as a consultant to venture capital and private equity groups to develop strategies for investing in emerging technologies.

Served as Executive Vice President for strategic planning, business development and Intelligence Community interface. During the period of 2003-2005, Special was awarded as the fastest growing company in Virginia with 2004% growth. Consulted with numerous clients across the IC on technology issues, focusing both on offensive and defensive applications. Served as SETA contractor to support the Directorate of Science and Technology (DS&T) to assess emerging biometric technologies and their application within the IC, as well as working closely with the Office of the Chief Scientist and key OCS personnel to develop their Technology Roadmap and Strategic Plan for biometrics and identities intelligence. Technology products that resulted from these efforts were incorporated into IC business processes and were major commercial successes.

Responsible for planning and allocation of resources to meet customer deliverables and maintain/grow business activity. Served as integral member of management team that grew the business area by 300%. Led a team of Communications Engineers on a highly specialized research and development effort to support specialized communications software. Served as Program Manager and Technical Advisor, managing a team of analysts and software developers to gather client requirements and develop a CI analysis tool that included backend capabilities to support biometric and other emerging data requirements that were noted as expanding the capability for the community.
