My duties encompass backend and frontend development of WiserMachines, guaranteeing a comprehensive, seamless, and efficient user interface.2. Additionally, I am actively involved in the development of a secure communication system. My efforts in this area include crafting a smart device specifically designed to secure communication, even in environments potentially accessible to adversaries. This role showcases my profound understanding of communication security and highlights my capacity to engineer solutions that safeguard data privacy and security, even in the most challenging circumstances.

Worked on signal compression aspects of wireless sensor networks. Seismic acquisition is a costly campaign employing manpower of thousands and signal cables of hundreds of miles. The goal is to go wireless geophone networks instead of wired ones in seismic surveys. There is then a need for signal compression of the enormous amount (10 TB/day) of data. I carried out a rate-distortion analysis of seismic survey networks. Developed practical seismic compression algorithms based on Gabor frames of Prolate Spheroidal Wave Functions, functional quantization and variational image separation methods.

Design and implementation of advanced voice compression algorithms on in-house and off-the-shelf DSP architectures from TI and Motorolla. High-level design and simulation on MATLAB as well as low-level instruction level optimization and mapping on target DSPs was invovled.

Design of advanced DSP System on Chip (SoC) solution for telecommunication infrastructures. Worked on high-density solutions for VoIP gateways. These SoCs were very large instruction width (VLIW) programmable cores with algorithm-specific functional units (arithmetic and logic units). The work involved instruction set design, computer arithmetic design, VLSI design, implementation/simulation and, testing/verification.
