As an Operations Specialist intern at JAS Freight Forwarding, my role focused on supporting the end-to-end logistics and supply chain processes. I was responsible for coordinating and monitoring shipments to ensure they met delivery schedules, managing essential documentation like customs paperwork and invoices, and maintaining communication with both clients and carriers. Additionally, I have been involved in inventory control and warehouse management, ensuring goods were stored and tracked efficiently. Problem solving was a key part of the role, requiring me to quickly address any delays or discrepancies in the freight forwarding process. This internship provided me with valuable experience in managing the complex logistics operations of a global freight forwarding company.
