About Hamza Sadouk

I've always had a passion for design, which started back in my first year of high school when I first started tinkering with Photoshop 7. I loved using what I learned to create manga and anime posters to share on fan forums and hang out in my room. As I gained more confidence in my skills, I started taking on small design gigs online, including business cards and flyers. These eventually led to larger design projects, including brand design, UX/UI design, and editorial design projects. As for the UX/UI part, it's all thanks to my background as a software developer and database administrator that eventually started learning about UX design. I was drawn to this discipline because I wanted to create designs that were driven by data and metrics, in order to make my work as inclusive and accessible as possible to everyone regardless of who they are and what they are.One of my biggest projects to date was the Dawry project, a full A1/A2 book for non-native speakers to learn Arabic made by four professors from Spain, and I acted as an editorial designer making decisions about the layout and visual side of the book as well as UX designer making sure the book is inclusive and accessible.Another amazing project would be the branding for Iris, an educational consulting agency based in Utah, USA.
