• Responsible for ensuring smooth operation of VSAT (Very Small Aperture Terminal) SCPC satellite network at NPCC Islamabad (Hub) and (Remote) sites across Pakistan.• Provide level-1/2 support and excellent troubleshooting of VSAT network-related issue, for instance hardware malfunction, configuration problem, or interference to swiftly resolve issues.• Installation and configuration of links and testing VSAT equipment’s for instance, satellite modems, cisco routers, switches and network hardware, ensuring uninterrupted end-to-end connectivity.• Monitor link performance on daily basis, gather data, and analyze it using Power BI to efficiently identify areas that required optimization or adjustment such as carrier overlapping, high/low power carriers etc.• Conduct preventive maintenance activities, maintaining regional inventory and documentation of updated network configurations and keep in touch with management regarding network performance and issues.• Provide support to end users or field technician on VSAT equipment operation, techniques or methods used to resolve certain issue.• Coordinate with internal sales department regarding planning and network expansion projects.

Pakistan

• Perform drive testing dedicated, Ideal mode using Nemo Outdoor, Huawei Genex Probe and Tems Investigation.• Perform Single site verification (SSV) with scripts as well as CSFB, VMOS and Benchmark testing.• Perform PS,CS and identify different issues for instance, call drops, low throughput, handover failure etc.• Monitoring GSM, WCDMA and LTE key Performance Indicators (KPI) for instance RSCP, RSRP, SINR and Throughput to evaluate the quality of service (QoS).• Perform Interference testing using Spectrum Analyzer and ascertain the root cause of interference in a certain area.• Coordination with internal and sales department, handling customer complaints and work directly with RF team to optimize network performance and make analysis on the data collected.
