Being the first in-house designer in the company came with a lot of expectations. Jottacloud is a leading Scandinavian cloud service where Hamza sunk his teeth in all parts of the organization with a focus on Users, Experience, Product Design, and Strategy. He got to work right next to developers which helped deliver designs that were built with the least amount of discrepancies between what was intended, and what got shipped. He was solely responsible for all the design needs for the Desktop, Mobile, and Web teams.

Lead the design for Operational Intelligence, Unreal 3D Project and then AIT (Automated Incident Reporting) — Some of the front runner web applications in Cognite’s Digital Twin Suite. Working in tightly-knit teams of designers, engineers, and product managers. Overcoming challenges ranging from understanding complex user needs to strive for the simplest of holistic solutions. All while making sure we design what can actually be built, scaled across industries, and still pushes boundaries with each iteration forward.The products are ever-demanding infographic havens. Playing with historical and otherwise time-series data in various ways and techniques. Enabling users to monitor and investigate tedious industrial data. Massive potential to drive up profitability and uptime. Reduce cost, downtime, and especially equipment maintenance.

Lead the UX on an upcoming consumer product and delivered a mid level specification. Which included a few sets of information architecture, wireframes, possible expansions and an extensive report on competitor analysis and insights from user interviews. Design process was a continuous loop of prototyping, testing, stakeholder feedback and iteration along with two service designers.
