IRESS organises software delivery into Delivery Teams made up of Analysts, Engineers, Test Engineers, User Experience Consultants. Each Delivery team work with a Product Team Lead, whose primary role is to bring the voice and needs of end-users and clients to the delivery team, ensuring the team has clear, achievable and agreed goals for the delivery cycle and signing off the final deliverable. The Product Team Lead works closely with product delivery teams elaborating user stories, managing backlogs (functional and technical), expanding specifications, conduct user research and testing, and delivering on the product vision and roadmap laid out by the Product Executive. They also provide key input into roadmap and future development prioritising decisions, representing the delivery team’s view on non-functional aspects of the product.A key component of this role is to provide insightful analysis to deliver qualitative software solutions and enhancements to a range of IRESS Products. This role requires; comprehensive product management experience, experience in undertaking competitor analysis and insights into gaps in product offering, an understanding of systems from a technological perspective as well as a strong practical understanding of how to solve problems and create products from inception to release.Integral to this role is the ability to engage our users and customers, understand the user journey and how our software enables efficiency and experience in allowing them to perform better. It requires both conceptual and practical systems thinking to create a product vision.

Work as an integral part of the project team to develop XPLAN Model Office.• Bringing the voice and needs of end-users and clients to the delivery team, ensuring the team has clear, achievable and agreed goals for the delivery cycle and signing off the final deliverable• To work closely with product delivery teams elaborating user stories and user personas, managing backlogs (functional and technical), expanding specifications, conduct user research and testing, and delivering on the product vision and roadmap laid out by the Product Executive with consideration of priority from stakeholders, consultants, commercial, and operations• To provide key input into roadmap and future development and priority decisions, representing the delivery team’s view on non-functional aspects of the product• To project manage cross-functional teams across different regions and oversee the delivery progress from research, requirements writing, development, quality assurance, implementation to BAU activities• To provide insightful analysis to deliver qualitative software solutions and enhancements to a range of IRESS Products. Keeping up to date with industry sector developments and legislation for compliance purposes• To establish and improve day to day operational and internal processes • Developing and maintaining product documentation, roadmap, competition analysis, business analysis and commercial consideration, training materials, change process, reviewing of communications and marketing collateral and provide sign offs as delegated• Identifying potential solutions to gaps in the assigned product offerings and initial assessment of the feasibility of these solutions• Providing guidance and assistance to team members on product development, training, change, and maintenance activities• Providing timely guidance for support to incident management for staffs
