Started off in the retail industry, I worked for McDonald's where I achieved Rookie of the Month, Rookie of the Year and Employee of the Month awards. Went over to Coles Express at nineteen years of age, I became the youngest Customer Service Leader (Store Manager) in the whole of Australia. On the weekends, I would be appointed Roving CSL, taking care of all the Shell/Coles Express in the east half of Victoria (approximately 27 stores). From there, I went on to Myer and won numerous Customer Service awards at Store level and Nationwide. After a decade of Petrol/Fast Food/Department Store Retail, I pursued my dreams of becoming a Pilot by moving to the Philippines to study to become a Commercial Pilot. Graduated top of my academy, I became the FIRST foreigner to be employed as a Safety Pilot/Student Advisor. Not long after, I was trained as a proper Flight Instructor and taught for more than a year to achieve a thousand Commercial Flying hours. Upon that milestone, I returned to Australia.Arriving back in Australia, I did a few different jobs like being a truck jockey before a truck driver. Qualified with a Heavy Rigid License, I was in the Transport Logistics industry for more than two years including skills as a Removalist. Suffering from a slight back injury, I decided to have more flexibility as a Uber Driver. At my own timing and plenty of time on the road travelling all over metro Victoria, I was also surveying and looking out for potential business ideas.With plenty of time on hand, I visited my sister in California, U.S.A. the land of opportunity. A couple of months there with numerous business ideas, I did some brainstorming and went with the Self Serve Bubble Tea concept. Paired with my previous retail experience and passion for food, I embarked on a journey to bring forth this concept that is one of a kind to the land down under. Opening the first store in Springvale was a huge learning process and to turn it into a franchise just means the sky is the limit. Today, I am a proud foodie to provide great tasting bubble teas with a refined franchise system to be a market disruptor.
