Michael is the Chief Operating Officer of Teachers on Call, an award winning personalized online and in-person K-12 tutoring service which provides one-on-one instruction for students experiencing learning difficulties or striving to achieve academic excellence in their programs. Prior to that, Michael was a finance and strategy executive with significant experience across the retail, franchising, real estate, private equity, manufacturing, and supply chain sectors. Michael began his career at RBC Capital Markets in the investment banking group supporting over $2B in debt and equity capital raises, initial public offerings and mergers & acquisitions across a variety of industries.Michael holds a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University in Finance and Economics and attended the Executive Leadership Program at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.Michael is actively involved in the community as a Board member of the McGill University Desautels Faculty of Management Global Expert Panel where he supports the faculty and students through guest lectures, live cases, project mandates and student mentoring. He has been recognized as a Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal Recipient for his community contribution supporting deserving students with quality education and learning.
