I held increasingly responsible positions with Sempra's regulated utility, SDG&E, in accounting, rate case support and planning and budgeting as well as in bulk utility commodity purchases and sales. Last position was with Sempra's unregulated energy trading unit, Sempra Energy Trading, which was operating in the newly deregulated gas and power markets in the western US.

Booked and analyzed natural gas production revenue and expenses for California on and off shore natural gas production and sales. Balanced and reconciled natural gas transported from Texas to California's Kern River field and settled line losses. Responsible for booking Texaco's share of construction costs for two cogeneration plants in a JV with southern California Edison.
