Achievements to date include:- Project managed the development of a new SharePoint portal which promoted greater collaborative working between Cheshire, Merseyside & Greater Manchester procurement staff and encouraged adherence to Corporate Governance and PMO best practice.- Undertook a gap analysis and led the development of a full suite of project management templates for healthcare procurements, which enabled the procurement team to effectively plan, monitor and control healthcare procurement projects- Introduced new document archiving, version control and change control procedures, which ensured the integrity of tender documents prior to their release and mitigated the risk of legal challenge- Developed a Pan Mersey / Cheshire Procurement Programme Dashboard, which provided Senior Procurement Management with data about individual procurement project performance against agreed targets / milestones and highlighted current resource capacity.- Carried out a market engagement exercise and produced an options appraisal of different eSourcing systems for the Head of Procurement and sourced a more cost effective and user friendly solution on the function’s behalf, which yielded savings of £100K per year.-Managed a programme of ICT hardware and Consultancy Services procurements on behalf of the NWCSU ICT function, which generated savings of over £100K and ensured compliance with NHS England SFI’s- Supported a broad range of healthcare procurements including PAN Mersey AQP refreshes for Audiology, MSK and Podiatry Services and the procurement of new community mental health services for NHS St Helens and Liverpool CCG’s Managed, which increased Patient Choice, improved service performance and enabled the CCG’s to achieve multi million pound savings.
