Developed a deeper understanding of the Clean Water Act and NPDES permits through research and preparing legal memoranda.

I developed practical ethical lawyering and advocacy skills for improving farmed animal treatment. I also gained hands-on experience researching associational and organizational standing in environmental law for clients and statutory interpretation under the Humane Methods of Slaughter Act and the Federal Meat Inspection Act.

I am responsible for opening and closing the store as well as ensuring the store is well organized. I fulfill online pick up orders, as well as preparing orders to be shipped across the country. I assist customers with locating items in the store, as well as help them with their crafting needs.

I assist at least sixty customers daily in a fast-paced environment. I am responsible for utilizing the cash register for cash and credit card transactions and provide customer service to help clients locate products. I also fulfill online orders and execute curbside-pickup and in-store pickup transactions.

The NJ Intern will support our campaigns to stop new fossil fuel infrastructure projects proposed in NJ and enact 100% renewable energy policies at the local level.
