As a Marketing Consultant for Surf & Turf Therapy, an organization that provides non-traditional forms of therapy (primarily surfing & horse therapy) for those with disabilities, I helped develop effective marketing strategies. In order to accomplish this, I am conducted market research, performed professional and consumer interviews, and identified key insights to inform marketing efforts.Key Responsibilities:- Conduct market research to gain insights into the needs and preferences of Surf & Turf’s target audience- Analyze secondary research to find marketing trends and analyze the competitive landscape to identify opportunities and challenges for the organization- Create a survey and conduct interviews to gather feedback from clients, donors, and other stakeholders

With a partner, I completed a Marketing Research Report for Lift Coffee in Whittier, CA. In order to make a report that was founded on knowledge, we began by doing secondary research for the coffee industry, interviewing 30+ customers, and conducting focus groups. All of this research was geared towards building a survey that would yield beneficial information about Lift's client base. After the survey was completed we then distributed it to 140+ customers and analyzed the responses using an application called SurveyPro. The goal of the report/analysis was to present findings and create recommendations for potential marketing strategies that would help our client's business become more successful.
