Currently assisting EDGES™ in their new, approachable, and relatable re-branding as we navigate the process of updating all of the facets of their company. In an effort to not only be successful in understanding key, engaging, marketing, but also spreading EDGES™ impactful message into everything they utilize.

As a Graphic Design Intern for The Richland Group I am grateful for the knowledge I have gained about marketing in the sense of design and how it impacts creation. As an intern for The Richland Group I am involved in numerous facets of design. From website design, to page building, NIL Marketing Campaigns, RFPs, presentations and professional documents, logo design, and even create social media content for a collective group of clients. Taking social media content creation into consideration, I have created templates, icons, informational graphics, and sought out imagery that is brand centric for our clients, ultimately ensuring they are branded cohesively. The content produced includes Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram ads, Instagram posts, stories, and reels, as well as Facebook and LinkedIn graphics for clients. It is a valuable asset to have a foundation of marketing when entering the world of design. This allows for a new perspective when designing, taking into consideration the value of the relationship between the audience, the brand, and the designer.

Working alongside the School of Art faculty to assist in design needs anywhere on the spectrum of collateral. From poster, to social media, to booklets, working as a Research Assistant for the Graphic Design program of the University of Arkansas creates diverse opportunities. Aside from tangible design, as a Research Assistant I contribute in facilitating and welcoming visiting artists as well as help them before, during, and after their visit to our campus. This includes the ideation and creation of promotional materials, but also assisting in the facilitation of public workshops, lectures, and more.
