Sportsworld has operated official programmes for corporate clients and sponsors at every Olympic Games since Los Angeles in 1984.My role within Sportworld was based around the London 2012 Olympics. I provided administrative and project support for one of the Olympic Sponsor Hospitality Packages for over 3,000 guests.I worked as one of the primary contacts for 45 international markets and over 60 local client contacts for the sales process, guest invitations and registration and onsite delivery of the hospitality programme. We acted as the primary liaison point between Sportsworld and the client with respect to all guest communication throughout the planning and lead-up, to Games time implementation. We worked to ensure the seamless delivery of all programme elements, including managing the guest registration website and database. I also provided support to the overall running and implementing of the programmes, from accomodation, transport, food & beverage plus any additional features present in the packages.
