Jump Rope Camp Instructor through the City of Davis Camps program. Teaches group of kids 6-11 years old jump rope skills on a weekly basis

I provide technical guidance in relation to disaster relief and repair projects and keeping them in accordance with environmental laws, executive orders, regulations, agreements, policies including but not limited to the NEPA/ CEQA, NHPA, the Clean Water Act, the Endangered Species Act, and Executive Orders 11988 and 11990. This position often entails collaboration with State, local, tribal, and territorial entities throughout the state of CA.

In this research position, I work in Dr. Majdi Abou Najm’s lab studying the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals. In this position, I have focused on writing literature reviews, analyzing data using excel and R, and talking to community members and other academics about the importance of the SDGs in different contexts and disciplines.

This position involved travelling to Morocco for 5 weeks to collect data on ephemeral streams in the Souss-Massa and Tensift water basins with the DREAM Program. Post-trip data analysis using ArcGIS and additional outreach activities took place in the USA between July-December 2022.

This job involved landscaping and field management work at Davis winery. Work at this job included: drop irrigation repair and maintenance, weeding and applying fungicides in apple and grape orchards, and gardening tasks. Had to quit prematurely due to health issues (allergic reaction) that have since been resolved.

This position involved collection of stream field data (temperature, flow, and water quality, organizing and analyzing field data in Excel, assisting in drone data collection, and constructing observational wells in the Big Springs watershed near Mt. Shasta, CA.

This position took place weekly at the Davis Farmer’s Market and involved farmer’s market booth set up, break down, and sales management. This job required in-depth knowledge of farm’s crop rotation, good relational skills with customers and surrounding farm booths, and financial management and reporting skills.

This job was focused on environmental preservation in the Central California region through habitat restoration and trail building/maintenance. This was a full time position (10 hours/day) and during scheduled work days camping and hiking into work sites was required.

This seasonal position required me to tend to the plants in the Lowe’s Garden Center. This included organizing tables, unloading shipments, and having basic knowledge of common decorative plant needs. This position increased my basic gardening and plant knowledge.

This internship was at a non-profit organization which provided services for Iraqi and Syrian refugees such as financial literacy classes and agriculture workshops. I assisted by interviewing those in the programs to get feedback and typing reports in English.

The semester of Fall 2015 assisted with a ichthyology study regarding the morphology of an endangered fish species, The Devil's Pup Fish. It was a graduate student project and I was in charge of detailed data entry.
