Taught summer art classes to students in grades 1-5. Summer art classes ranged from drawing, printmaking to ceramics. Students were exposed to a variety of mediums, artists and developmentally appropriate skills in these 2 week classes. Classes culminated in art exhibitions for the artists and their families.

Sherwood High School - Taught and planned art lessons for high school students in Foundations, Studio 1, and Studio 2/3/AP, and Ceramics 2. Art units included relief printing of a personal logo design, a mixed media altered book unit, a hand cut paper identity piece inspired by artist Beatrice Coron focusing on personal symbolism and the use of positive and negative space, and non-functional clay sculptures inspired by contrasting emotions

Manor Woods Elementary School - Took on the full dimensions of a teacher’s responsibility by planning and implementing art units for K-5 students, supervising student drop-off in the morning, and attending advisory committee meetings. Art units included invented machines prompted by material explorations with 2nd grade, mark making and gesture drawing inspired by Miriam Schapiro with 5th grade, a collaborative dream mandala with 4th grade and symbolic hybrid clay animals with 3rd grade.

Managed the studio and staff, organized kiln firing schedules, collaborated with other studios, led workshops and taught lessons

Taught ceramics (handbuilding, wheel throwing, glazing, raku firing) to campers aged 9-17
