A member of the firm’s Employment Law practice group, I focus on the defense of employment discrimination and wage cases, drafting employee handbooks and employment agreements, and conducting workplace trainings and workplace investigations for employers.While in law school, I was actively involved in Marquette University’s Sports Law Program as an editor for the Marquette Sports Law Review and participant in two national competitions: the Mardi Gras Moot Court Invitational in New Orleans, Louisiana and the National Sports Law Negotiation Competition in San Diego, California. In addition, I escaped the cold weather and interned for a summer at a Sarasota, Florida law firm. Upon graduation from law school, I worked for a mid-size firm in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, practicing commercial litigation and employment law. Ultimately, I wanted to transition to warmer weather to fulfill my lifelong dream of living in Florida, being close to the aunt and uncle who inspired my career and exclusively practicing employment law.Prior to law school, I attended Purdue University, where I majored in Corporate Communications, honing my talents of connecting well with others. I was also involved in a sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha, where I took on multiple leadership roles and found a passion for philanthropic work, through Zeta’s supporting of breast cancer research, education, and awareness.Away from the office, I love to be outside, whether it is running along the bay or reading by the pool. I have a passion for sports and like to play golf. When time allows, I enjoy visiting my family in Indiana, where as a part of our traditions, we attend country concerts together.
