About Hannah Jacobi
My biggest talent is being able to empathize with people, to look further than the prejudices the world has become ingrained with. To think inside boxes gives people a falsified sense of control and clarity, but growth lies in the ability to engage beyond such black/white perspectives. I believe inclusivity starts by passing by prejudice and preconceptions. To engage with an open mind, in light of constructive dialogue. Everybody is born into a ‘bubble’ or a ‘box’, based on religious beliefs, nationality, culture, ethnicity, economic status, gender, sexuality, etc. The world has become dominated by such categorisations, with engagement between said bubbles lessening, and conflict increasing. I believe it is incredibly important to refocus on building bridges, to celebrate differences, and above all, to realise we are all human beings who wish to be understood. My greatest satisfaction comes from helping people feel understood, to feel seen. To make a concrete and hopefully lasting (positive) impact on the world. Most of my academic career has been focussed on past suffering, I want to spend my career making the world a better place in the present. To build bridges, instead of boxes. Please feel free to contact me via LinkedIn. I am always interested in having insightful dialogue!SpecialtiesReading | (Creative) Writing | (Video) Editing | Critical + Creative Thinking | Problem Solving | Communication | Interpersonal Skills | Flexibility
