• Implemented Implicit Bias training & anti-racism training for the church community, creating action plans to ensure tangible progress•Conducted semester service events focused on the discussion of race, gender, & ability in a religious environment• Traveled to Zambia, working with local churches to increase the effectiveness of shared curriculum

• Organize board meetings, interview & train new employees, negotiate with venues, and create year-long budgets• Manage organization subgroups such a producing, publicity, community outreach, fundraising, and treasury to ensure smooth cooperation for productions• Produced four full-scale productions, ensuring quality and timeliness of all production needs• Music directed two full-scale productions, teaching all music to the production cast

• Collected data for Addiction Algebra Project, helping researchers study substance abuse• Worked for Maps Corpsm a research program focused on rural barriers to education, teaching research skills to students in underfunded high school• Spearheaded partnership with Project Momentum to identify the root causes of substance abuse in rural counties• Assisted with IRB eligibility consent forms for data collection in local communities• Connected with local community organizations to spread awareness of substance abuse• Provided technical assistance to project coordinator, assisting wherever needed• Prepared implementation for a final research project

•Taught voice and piano to 1 student per year in 2nd, 4th, and 7th grade, providing both free music lessons and emotional support through the mentorship program• Worked with each student to prepare for an annual recital, which helped bolster their confidence• Taught for 80 hours total throughout the volunteer time

• One of twenty-five first years selected for First-Year Service Corps, in which we learned about and embodied the three pillars of service: Direct, Organizational, and Engagement• Participated in UNC’s inaugural Service Learning Initiative, completing 20 service hours in 3 days through volunteering at Orange County Rape Crisis Center, TABLE (Local organization working against food insecurity), and Scroggs Elementary• Partnered with 10+ local organizations, including the Orange County Rape Crisis Center and Carolina Cupboard• Volunteered to clean facilities at Club NOVA, a safe place for adults with mental illness• Worked with TABLE, packing and delivering meals to low-income community members
