Responsible for all special events, intramural, extracurricular activities, transportation, and logistics for more than 4,400 midshipmen and managed a staff of three Officers and two civilians. Transformed Engineering Department program management, ensuring a successful READ-E3 and earning HALSEY COMDESRON NINE's nomination for the Arleigh Burke Fleet Trophy. Ensured peak readiness and set the standard for the Engineering Training and PQS Programs across the Pearl Harbor waterfront. Directed the execution of over 600 material checks as the hand-selected Plant Control Officer for Engineering Light Off Assessment. Guided, initiated, and motivated Engineering Department to clear every LOA benchmark well ahead of schedule despite delays in exiting a maintenance availability.

Led a diverse division of 15 Sailors and increased their personal and professional performance through training and consistent, high standards. Coordinated a successful NSFS gun shoot during RIMPAC 2016 firing 15 rounds of integrated with international partners. Led the PBED process for 4 complex live-fire events expending 1,115 rounds across 3 weapon systems demonstrating CHUNG-HOON's ability to destroy a target with precision, while following a deliberate process.
