A recent graduate from Johnson & Wales University, Bachelor of Science.My time at Johnson & Wales University has prepared me thoroughly in teaching me the skills in leadership, networking, communication, and extensive knowledge in Criminal Justice and Psychology topics.During my final semester at the University, I became an intern in the Parole Unit, apart of the RIDOC. Throughout this experience, I learned and absorbed the inner workings of the justice system and the impact it has on offenders.With the recognition of need, I collaborated with the University in organizing a donation drive , presented at a Spring panel ‘Leaving the Gang’, with hygiene goods to benefit parolees reentering the community.I am eager to navigate the field in absorbing the experience and insight from professionals, in order to be a change-maker of justice.
