I have worked for a non-profit makerspace in Arkansas for nearly 9 years as an art educator, program coordinator, project manager, and team lead for education programs. In addition to leading STEAM Education at Arkansas' first makerspace, the Arkansas Regional Innovation Hub, I am a ceramic artist with a home studio base in central Arkansas. In my role as Lead Art Educator at the Innovation Hub, I started programming for screen printing, printmaking, digital arts, and ceramics in addition to managing the art and design spaces. I graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2012 where I was a Donaghey Scholar from 2007-2012 and received the Marcia M. Smith award for best final project presentation in my graduating class. I have received exhibition awards and purchase awards for my work in juried national exhibitions and received an Arkansas Arts Council Fellowship Award in contemporary craft in 2017. I currently make both functional and sculptural work in clay with themes about domestic life.
