I have a long-established passion for human rights, justice, feminism, and international politics, with a willingness and enthusiasm to help others bring about positive change.I am a strong team player who enjoys seeing others succeed, with the willingness and skills to step up and take a lead when this is needed.These qualities have continued to mature during my undergraduate studies at Sheffield University, building on the strong foundations established at one of the country’s leading Grammar schools as a member of the Head Girl team. Through founding and leading societies, establishing a new school choir, and active involvement in the school community, I was able to learn skills that equalled my enthusiasm to make a difference.My work experience has been primarily in retail and customer service, including the successful expansion of a strong social media presence for a major high-street coffee shop.I remain a keen volunteer, actively serving in my church community; this saw me travel at the age of 10 to visit an aid and development project in Burkina Faso, a project I returned to some years later. What I experienced and learned there has been formative in fuelling my passion for social justice, dedication to study Politics and International Relations, and enthusiasm for study and work that improves the lives of others.
