I am a fourth-year Honors/Deans List student at American University in Washington, D.C. obtaining a B.A. in Justice, Law, and Criminology (concentration in criminology) with a minor in Psychology. On campus, I have involved myself to the best of my ability by immersing myself into various leadership positions in my sorority chapter. This past summer, I was an intern with the US Department of Homeland Security's Office of Strategy, Policy, and Plans: Law Enforcement Policy (LEP); sponsored by Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE). I am happy to announce that I will be staying with the LEP team for the fall 2024 semester. I am originally from a small town in Vermont and am very grateful for all of my education that has led me to my academic career at American University. I grew up babysitting and tutoring other kids, as I enjoy keeping myself busy with that through different outlets. In the future, I hope to find myself working in some position in the Federal Government permanently. With my passion for learning, dedication and patience for myself and others, and my desire to improve the lives of others, I hope to make a positive difference in the world.
