I’m a second-year student at Endicott College, looking for internships in the Mental Health Industry. As a psychology major and dual minor in business and dance, I’m fascinated by how our brains work and how the arts can benefit our health through expression. I have participated in dance/movement therapy for eleven years and was able to develop coping mechanisms and establish boundaries in my personal life. What inspires me most about this field of work is the noticeable growth in individuals. My future goals are to work in a psychiatric facility and eventually own a private practice where I can help individuals ease the strain of mental illness, life stressors, or a combination of both.
