Managed donor database in Exceed; processed donations, ran donor reports, and prepared tax receipt letters and tax documents for each event and appeal. Organized Board meetings; compiled executive reports and donor packets, edited previous month’s minutes, and updated major donor tracking sheets. Took minutes during meetings and handled filing and archiving. Planned and coordinated fundraising events, interfacing with speakers, venues, and concession vendors and overseeing staff during events. Promoted awareness of nonprofit and helped raise $10,000. Assisted marketing team by managing organization’s website and preparing monthly e-blasts to donors. Assisted with graphics design and content development.

Filled in for absent teachers in classrooms across all grade levels. Held a long-term position in the art department during fall 2017, teaching elementary and middle school grades. Planned lessons involving various media, including acrylics, oils, pastels, watercolors, photography, natural materials, and paper/pencil. Coordinated after-school program activities for the early childhood center, including group craft projects, outdoor play, and play stations. Accompanied groups of middle school students on day and overnight outdoor education trips.

Buena Vista Co

Summer position. Oversaw and managed fifty-five staff members which included three weeks of staff development and outdoor professional training and six weeks of youth camp. Supervised up to one-hundred campers. Provided character development, emotional support, and discipline. Developed through organization, started in 2012 as a counselor in training, 2013 counselor, 2014-2015 program manager, and camp director in 2016. In 2013 won the Capp A. Andrews Moral Leadership Award which is peer nominated.

Oversaw and provided support for fifteen college freshmen. Went through three months of professional development on character development, emotional support, and collaboration. Developed multiple relationships based off of sincerity and support.

Buena Vista Co

Summer position. Lead and directed seven staff members including two Counselors in training. Emphasized communication, teamwork, and leadership. Guided and developed twenty campers doing various outdoor trips including regular backpacking trips up 14,000 ft. mountains, rock-climbing, ropes course, and rafting. Served as a lead outdoor professional with focused technical skills in the backcountry.
