Often times when I tell people I work in HR, their response goes something like this: "Oh, so you're like Toby in The Office?" It makes me laugh every time! Human Resources is so much more than what we see from our (somewhat complacent) fictional friend, Toby Flenderson. HR is exciting! I'm grateful to have experienced a variety of HR responsibilities since I stepped into the industry almost five years ago. As a recruiter, I was dedicated to bringing in a high volume of quality candidates and refining the onboarding process. During my time in benefits, I have sought to empower employees through benefits education, successfully assisting our company through major benefit plan changes, leading a wellness committee, performing various compliance related projects and more. As a People & Organization Business Partner, I am deeply committed to safeguarding and enhancing our company culture. I find great joy in the multifaceted nature of HR work and am continually energized by the myriad opportunities it presents for growth and innovation.
