I am an aspiring astrophysicist who is uncovering her research interests by working with UW Madison's astrophysics department and by attending conferences outside of the university. At the moment, I am contributing to research on Hycean Worlds - exoplanets with water oceans - in future I would like to continue working in lunar and planetary science. On this journey, I am always attempting to improve my skills with various python libraries and in the work force. Outside of my academics, I fence and am interested in nonprofit work that impacts communities in crisis. I am also a proud member of the National Society of Black Physicists, National Society of Black Engineers and the American Astronomical Society.
