At Writers House, I was responsible for reading manuscripts and composing reader's reports, editorial letters, rejection letters, and pitch letters. I also learned how to use BAITS and honed my administrative skills with weekly front desk and accounting shifts.

While at Union Literary, I was responsible for reading the agent's slush and writing reports for her. Additionally, I communicated with potential clients and copy-edited manuscripts.

I was responsible for finding partners and sponsors for VOA's Operation Backpack. I also helped organize and run the two-week long event, which included working with large groups of volunteers and coordinating with shelters around New York City to schedule pickup of the backpacks.

I was initially hired as a full-time conista - a server - over the summer to serve gelato at Grom's Columbus Circle store. As I got more comfortable with the job, I was then trained as a producer and began both making and serving gelato. I learned how to work a point of sale system, interacted with the customers, and counted and tracked inventory.
