I am an aspiring Classics major at Christendom College with a great love of learning. My interest in Classical history and languages arises from a well-rounded liberal arts education. After graduation, I plan to either pursue a Masters degree in Classics or begin teaching Latin/Greek or History at a high school level. My particular areas of academic interest are Classical Education, Latin, Greek, Semitic Languages, Literature, and Ancient/Medieval History. I have gained experience in teaching as a private tutor of Medieval History to a homeschool student for one year, during which I planned lessons and used both the textbook and external sources to spark interesting conversations and engage my student. My position as a tutor taught me flexibility, one-on-one communication, and creative engagement in the classroom. I am also an avid equestrian, and I have gained experience in both riding and instruction as a counselor/assistant head riding master at Camp Sancta Maria in Gaylord, Michigan. Through this experience, I gained adaptability, team-building skills, interpersonal communication, and leadership skills. As a rider, I have also learned how to adapt to fast-changing situations, make decisions quickly, and plan for several outcomes.I have had an article published in the St. Austin Review and have been interviewed twice for two pro-life podcasts as the president of my high school pro-life group. I also run a Substack for my current Latin translation project.
