About Hannah Girvan

My background is varied and has allowed me to quickly adapt to a variety of settings including research and development, creative industries pathway transformation to improve health and care. The main thread of my career will always be collaboration and community building, strengthened by working in various fields. I'll now be applying these skills to the woodworking field, including sculpture, construction, furniture making and community projects. I'm part of a woodworkers network across the UK with a focus on marginalised voices. In the future I will be growing, harvesting and storing my own woodland to use in my work and am gaining forestry training to prepare for this.
