Working in the Communities and Places team as part of Quit Victoria, I lead and implement projects designed to engage priority population groups and settings. I am responsible for building workforce capacity across a range of sectors to enhance their ability to act to reduce tobacco and e-cigarette related harm. These sectors include Community Health – Health Promotion funded services, local government, education sector and public housing.

Working in the Screening, Early Detection and Immunisation Team (Prevention Division). My role is responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating innovative and engaging cancer screening, early detection and HPV immunisation initiatives targeting priority population groups. These include (but not limited to) Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Peoples, culturally and linguistically diverse populations, communities affected by social and economic disadvantage, people with disabilities and those who identify as LGBTIQ. This involves collaborating with key stakeholders across Victoria who reach individuals from these priority groups to develop and implement community-based and workforce development initiatives. As part of my role, I have have line management responsibilities; providing direction, support and performance monitoring to direct reports.
