As a marketing communications graduate from BCIT, I had the opportunity to gain hand-on-experience in the field for two years. Through my coursework and group projects, I have refined my skills and knowledge, finding a passion for a career in Public Relations. I was lucky enough to get the opportunity during my last few months at BCIT, to intern at Talk Shop Media as a junior account associate. Finding it very fulfilling putting my studies to use, I thrived off the fast-paced agency environment and thoroughly enjoyed getting the chance to work with multiple different clients at a time. After graduating from BCIT in May 2023, I was offered a full-time position at Talk Shop staying on in the same position, working with the same amazing team and clients. I am truly so excited and motivated to continue growing in my role and within the industry.As a passionate and driven individual, I always strive to achieve new goals. Growing up as a competitive athlete, I have not only learned the importance of teamwork but it has made me become a very driven person, always striving to do my best. I took this with me as I took my first steps into the industry as an intern and am proud to say it paid off.
